This time of the year is a reflective time for me, so I want to share with you how my 2021 went. I want to share with you what went well, what things I struggled with and what I can do and change to have a better 2022!
This is not just the financial aspect but more importantly the mindset we have which reflects our financial abundance and financial position.Â
I will start with my ups and downs at the start of the year. My excitement kicked in as I decided to rebrand and took somebody in but I ended up spending so much of my time looking after the team and doing much of the expert aspect of the team which reflects a sort of lack of role ownership. I would have spent most of my time focusing on speaking to more clients and growing the business. I can say that confrontation has not been my strength. When I want someone to improve or correct something on the job they do, I couldn’t say that straight to the person which I realized is not helping the business at all.
My 2022 will be a total change. One of the things I want to do next year is, I really need to put more time in my diary and arrange more time for myself to have time for myself. Also, I will be having some new team members coming in, which I’m super excited about.
I think we just have to be really self-conscious about how we spend our time. It is a huge asset that we completely undervalue
Reflecting and thinking about the not-so-good things that happened in 2021, I want my 2022 to be a better year for me, for the people I work with and for the business. I’ll make sure I have the right team around, I am clear with my goals and I spend my time more effectively. Â
It all boils down to doing the right things towards the right goals to achieve them.
