Today’s episode is about understanding your money mindset. I am discussing this interesting subject with my good friend, Liz Almond who is a Mindset Shifter, an inspirational and multi award winning Spiritual Teacher, Business Coach/Mentor, Author, and Holistic Therapist. Liz works with mid life professionals who are feeling stuck, frustrated and unfulfilled to help them feel happier, empowered and confident as well as feeling more balanced and with clarity about their life purpose. Often her clients are usually caring for elderly parents and this is a key aspect creating them stress due to unhealed childhood trauma. Mental Health, Menopause and Bereavement are her specialism. She is also a trainer of multiple therapies including Reiki, Meditation, NLP and The Balance Procedure. She is passionate about challenging and changing perceptions about mental health to assist individuals to be well again and to understand the link between spirituality and mental health.
Understanding how we feel about ourselves has a massive impact on how we feel about money. In whatever we do, it all comes down to our beliefs, our belief system, and what we believe to be true. Because everything that’s happening comes from our thoughts. We create our own reality so if we believe and we think that we are not worthy to move to the next level, then we won’t because we are blocked by our beliefs to shift.
We are all going through challenges in our lives, and oftentimes, we drown into so much stress going on especially on the financial aspect. That is totally normal but we can do something about it. And here are some simple things we can start with: Being aligned to your passion because if you’re doing what you love, then you become much happier; Practicing self care; Making sure you know what is going on in your bank account because it’s so important to be aware of what you have and knowing where you are financially; Drilling deeper in money and money mindset as any belief system; Noticing what and who you have around you; And finally, being grateful for all your blessings.
On the other hand, a technique that can be used to maintain the energy and balance in life is called the Balance Procedure. This is a nonverbal energy technique, and it works in your mindset and on your energy. This means that if you’re not getting something you’re wanting then there’s something that blocks your belief to be able to get to that point. The procedure involves nine cards that have symbols on them which actually don’t have sacred geometry within them but actually work on your subconscious.
Sometimes, the key thing is becoming your own therapist. It is actually one of the cheapest and most effective ways. It’s also about trusting and acknowledging what you see and how you feel. It causes more mental health problems if you don’t validate situations to be real. If we’re not being authentic to ourselves, we then become unhappy because we’re unable to express how we truly feel. It is all about being the true you.
